Opportunities are seasonal and event-based, depending on booking availability.

Responsibilities:

• Create fast, stylized caricatures during live events

• Capture guest likenesses while maintaining quality and speed

• Interact professionally and positively with guests and clients

• Arrive on time and fully prepared for scheduled events

• Maintain professionalism and represent the Jonathan Draws You brand positively

• Follow company guidelines, expectations, and standards of conduct

• Assist with additional artistic or event-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Basic cartooning, caricature, or face drawing ability

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a live event environment

• Strong communication and people skills

• Reliable transportation

• Weekend and evening availability required

• Must be at least 18 years old

Performance Goals:

• Ability to complete caricatures efficiently during live events

• Artists who can work quickly while maintaining quality work

Compensation:

● Paid per event/hour based on experience, speed, skill level, and event type

● Most events run 2–4 hours, with occasional longer bookings

● Flexible, event-based schedule varies by bookings; artists typically work 1–4 events per week during busy seasons, with lighter or heavier weeks depending on demand. Work opportunities are based on event bookings, so some weeks may include multiple events while others may have none.

Typical Starting Rates:

● Black & White Caricatures: $40/hour (approx. $80–$160 per event) + tips

● Color Caricatures: $50/hour (approx. $100–$200 per event) + tips

● Fast Event Caricatures: $60/hour (approx. $120–$240 per event) + tips
